Bookings may be made from:

8.30 am to 7 pm Monday to Friday

8.30 am to 12 noon Saturday

9 am to 12 noon Sunday.

All weekend and evening duty appointments are for urgent problems only and may only be booked on the day or by doctors' request. Doctors may be consulted on weekdays from 9.30 am to 5 pm. Emergency problems will receive priority.

If your problem is urgent, or if you have a sick child, please let us know when making the appointment. (Also read about Home Visits)

Appointments are normally made at 10 minute intervals to allow adequate time for the visit. This time may be longer if your problem is more complex and needs to be dealt with immediately, otherwise your doctor may suggest making a follow-up appointment. If you have several matters to discuss or feel that your problem may take longer than usual, please discuss this with the receptionist when making an appointment.

ADMINISTRATION

Running a large medical centre involves a considerable number of support staff.

Their duties include taking telephone appointments, looking after patients in the waiting rooms, typing medical letters, keeping records, organisation and billing.

All staff are bound by patient confidentiality.
